I would like to inform you that the Green Business School (GBS) organized a webinar on “Post Budget Discussion on National Budget 2021-22” through ZOOM virtual plat-format on July 7, 2021, at 11:30 AM. Honourable Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Golam Samdani Fakir and Honorable Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque of the Green University of Bangladesh presided over the program. While Hossain Zillur Rahman, Chairman of BRAC and Executive Chairman at PPRC has spoken as the guest of honour. At the webinar, the students of Green Business School analysed and presented the component of the budget through a PowerPoint presentation. They discussed various aspects of the Bangladesh National Budget for the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 on the basis of allocation for the education sector, GDP rate, inflation, sources of revenue, implementation of the development programs etc.
Moreover, they presented the trend analysis for the Bangladesh National Budget, whereas it incorporates expenditure and revenue trend based on GDP and Inflation, Sectoral Allocation of Budget, Social Protection Program, and Cross-Country Analysis about the Education. Addressing as chief guest Hossain Zillur Rahman said, “the proposed budget will face lots of challenges due to the impact of COVID-19”. Consistent with the chief guest Professor Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, Vice-Chancellor of GUB addressed more analytical insight about the national budget of Bangladesh. Impacts of Bangladesh national budget to the education sectors are mostly priorities in consist of the industrial revolution 4.0 address by Prof. Dr. Md.
