With much pleasure, Green University Language Center would like to humbly draw your kind attention to that the Language Centre and Women’s Empowerment Forum of the Green University of Bangladesh are collaboratively hosting a Webinar on Breast Cancer, entitled “Breast Cancer: Awareness can Save Life” on November 11, 2021(4:00 pm-5:00 pm).

Breast cancer is the most commonly occurring cancer in women and the second most common cancer overall. Awareness surrounding breast cancer is incredibly important as early detection, often through self-examination, can catch the disease when it is most treatable. This webinar is an effort to raise awareness among men and women to reduce the stigma of breast cancer through education on symptoms and treatment.

The session will be enriched by   Dr. Tahmina Akter, MBBS, BCS (Health) M.phil (Physiology) Dhaka Medical College, as the key speaker. This webinar is open for both male and female faculty members and other participants. We believe that men can play a vital role in creating awareness among their female family members as well.
