The "Meet the Chairperson" program for freshers was held recently, providing a warm welcome to the new students of the Department of English. The session was presided over by Prof. Dr. M. Shahidullah, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and Chairperson of the Department of English.During his inspiring speech, Professor Dr. Shahidullah shared valuable suggestions for the students, emphasizing the importance of regular class attendance to get acclimated to the department's culture and the university’s academic environment. His words of encouragement set a positive tone for the students as they embark on their academic journey at Green University.The program was a wonderful opportunity for the freshers to interact with the faculty, gain insights into their university life, and build a sense of community from the very beginning.
