Leo Club

The International Association of Lions Clubs, more commonly known as Lions Clubs International, is an international service organization established originally in 1916 in Chicago. Illinois, by Melvin Jones. It is now headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois. As of January 2020, it had over 46000 local clubs and more than 1.4 million members (including the youth wing Leo) in more than 200 countries and geographic areas around the world. Leo Club of Green University is the youth project of Lions International. On 26th December 2022, University officially recognized Leo club as the 19th club of Green University of Bangladesh.


To cultivate a generation of compassionate, proactive, and socially responsible leaders who are committed to creating a better world by addressing local and global challenges, and to be recognized as a driving force for positive change in our communities.


To empower and inspire young leaders to make a positive impact on their communities through volunteerism, leadership development and service projects, while fostering a spirit of unity and camaraderie among its members.
