The Department of Textile Engineering, in collaboration with the Green University Textile Club (GUTC), successfully organized the Departmental Annual Picnic 2024 on December 8, 2024 (Sunday), in Cumilla. The event was a refreshing and engaging experience for both students and faculty members, offering a perfect blend of recreation, exploration, and bonding.As part of the trip, participants visited Magic Paradise Amusement Park, Mainamati Shalban Bihar, and the War Cemetery, immersing themselves in entertainment and historical landmarks.Journey & ParticipationThe team departed from the Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) permanent campus at 7:30 AM and reached Cumilla at 10:00 AM.A total of 150 participants, including students and faculty members, joined the event.Four buses were arranged by the logistics section of GUB to facilitate transportation.Activities & HighlightsThe day was filled with engaging activities aimed at strengthening relationships and creating lasting memories.
