The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Green University of Bangladesh successfully organized the Freshers’ Orientation Program for the Summer 2026 Semester on 13 June 2026 at Room A-409, Green University of Bangladesh. The event was arranged by the EEE Club with the objective of welcoming newly admitted students and introducing them to the academic environment, opportunities, and culture of the department.The program commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran, creating a respectful and inspiring atmosphere for the occasion. This was followed by an engaging ice-breaking session titled “Mystery Face Challenge,” which helped create a friendly and interactive environment for the freshmen.


One of the key segments of the orientation was the introduction of the faculty members of the Department of EEE. The new students were acquainted with the dedicated faculty members who will guide and mentor them throughout their academic journey. The session was followed by a presentation highlighting the promising achievements of EEE-Green, showcasing the department’s accomplishments in academics, research, innovation, competitions, and industry engagement.The program was further enriched by a motivational speech delivered by Prof. Dr. Md. Quamrul Ahsan, Distinguished Professor of the Department of EEE. His inspiring words encouraged students to pursue academic excellence, develop professional skills, and maintain a strong commitment to lifelong learning.



A video presentation introducing the EEE Club provided students with an overview of the club’s activities, events, competitions, and leadership opportunities. The freshmen were encouraged to actively participate in co-curricular and extracurricular initiatives that complement their academic development.Another significant segment of the program was a session on “EEE Job Prospects” conducted by Prof. Dr. Md. Fayzur Rahman, Professor, Department of EEE, and Treasurer of Green University of Bangladesh. He shared valuable insights into the diverse career opportunities available for EEE graduates in industries such as power and energy, telecommunications, electronics, automation, embedded systems, renewable energy, and research.The orientation also featured an alumni speech, offering the newcomers a practical perspective on student life, academic challenges, and career preparation. In addition, M. M. Naushad Ali, Assistant Professor of the Department of EEE and Moderator of the Green Robotic Society, showcased the department’s Mars Rover Project, highlighting the innovative and research-oriented culture of the department.



To make the event more interactive and enjoyable, a Kahoot-based quiz competition titled “Last Three Standing” was organized, allowing students to participate in a fun and competitive learning experience. The program concluded with an Address of Motivation delivered by Prof. Dr. A. S. M. Shihavuddin, Professor, Department of EEE, who encouraged the students to remain dedicated, disciplined, and ambitious throughout their university life.The event formally concluded with a Prize Giving Ceremony and Vote of Thanks by Dr. Md. Hasan Maruf, Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Department of EEE. In his remarks, he warmly welcomed the new students to the EEE family and emphasized the department’s commitment to providing a supportive and enriching learning environment.




The Freshers’ Orientation Program successfully introduced the incoming students to the academic excellence, innovative spirit, and vibrant community of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
