The Department of Textile Engineering at Green University of Bangladesh successfully organized the “Textile Quiz Competition—Fall 2024” on December 4, 2024 (Wednesday), at 12:15 PM. The competition was conducted using the Kahoot! online platform and held at PCR-302 (Seminar Room).The event was presided over by Prof. Dr. Nitai Chandra Sutradhar, Distinguished Professor and Chairperson, Department of Textile Engineering, Green University of Bangladesh. Faculty members from the department were also present to support and encourage the participants.We were honored to have distinguished guests at the event:• Chief Guest: Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shorif Uddin, Vice Chancellor, Green University of Bangladesh• Special Guest: Prof. Dr. Md. Saiful Azad, Dean, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Green University of BangladeshThe quiz competition featured 40 questions, including 27 related to General Knowledge and 13 focused on Basic Textile Engineering. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 120 students, making it a highly competitive and engaging experience. The IT section of the university provided technical support to ensure a smooth and efficient competition.After a rigorous contest, the top performers were awarded certificates and prize money in recognition of their outstanding performance.The primary objective of organizing this competition was to encourage students to expand their knowledge across various domains and foster a spirit of learning and healthy competition.Here are some highlights from the event:
